The Controller electronics are contained in a cast aluminum box which fitts inside a wooden case. This box itself houses the controls, display, connectors and some power parts. These latter include the regulators, MOSFET switch, and the speaker amplifier. It contains these subassemblies. The Inter-connect board has connectors for the power parts, the 15-pin connector to the Battery Box, the Probe Connector, the programming connector, the Analog Board and the Digital Board. It contains a multiplexer for the switches, a driver for the relay and the relay. The Analog board connects between the Interconnect board and the Digital Board. It provides signal conditioning for the inputs. The Digital Board connects to the Analog Board, the Interconnect Board and the display. It contains the Picaxe 40X2, the Real-Time Clock module and the backlight switch. |
